Music Therapy in the Treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury
The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF) specializes in helping individuals with traumatic brain injury improve their overall health and well-being. Working with patients through CenterLight Health System, the IMNF helps them regain speech and motor capabilities that have been lost as the result of injury to the brain. Our licensed therapists use music to retrain the brain to learn important life skills. Music therapists can help individuals with traumatic brain injury improve muscle control, speech and cognition.
