How Much Does Well-Tuned™ Cost?

The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function’s (IMNF) Well-Tuned™: Music Players for Health Program allows individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, Parkinson’s disease, depression or anxiety, as well as their loved ones, to affordably experience the benefits of therapeutic music. There are 3 separate costs involved: the mP3 player/iPod, the music and Well-Tuned™’s set up service.

The MP3 player/iPod: $49

New iPod shuffles are available at Apple®, and MP3 players/iPods could be purchased from Best Buy® and Radio Shack® stores. (You can either buy it and send it to us or we can purchase it for you. As Apple requires all purchases to be made directly by end users, we can purchase the iPod from Apple on your behalf and it will show up on your charge card statement as a charge directly from Apple).

The Music: $100

We recommend 100-200 songs to start. Having at least 100 songs is a great way to maintain interest. (Charges for these songs are typically $.99 each [although some are $1.29], and will be billed by Apple against your credit card.)

Well–Tuned Set Up Service: $99

This includes a consultation with a Well-Tuned™ music specialist, headphones and an AC Adapter to easily recharge the MP3 player/iPod’s battery. This charge will be listed on your credit card as the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function.

I would like others to benefit from what I have been through and to take part in the help that the center gives.
